BSC1005C — INTRODUCTION TO BIOLOGY: 4 Credits, 4 Hours - Lecture and laboratory

(Fall, Spring) This course applies the scientific method to critically examine and explain the natural world including but not limited to cells, organisms, genetics, evolution, ecology, and behavior. This course cannot be substituted for BSC 1010c. Prerequisite: Successful completion of an NFC developmental reading course option or appropriate reading placement score on a postsecondary readiness test. Exemptions may exist; consult an academic advisor. *All science courses with laboratories require an additional lab fee.
