Computer Information Systems

Computer Information Systems at Muskegon Community College prepares students for careers in technology. Employment in computer and information technology occupations is projected to grow 13 percent, adding about 557,100 new jobs. The department offers degrees in Technology Support and Software Development, helping students master programming languages for entry-level developer roles. New offerings include an Intro to AI class and a Data Science Program covering programming, artificial intelligence, data analysis, and visualization. The FutureTech initiative provides free hands-on training, industry certifications, internships, and direct employer connections at the Sturrus Technology Center.
