Food Processing Technology (AAS)

Muskegon Community College, in partnership with Michigan State University's Institute of Agricultural Technology, offers a Food Processing Technology AAS degree. West Michigan has over 15,000 annual food processing job openings. Students earn at least 28 MCC credits recognized by MSU toward an MSU certificate, lowering overall program cost. Graduates are prepared to safely operate and maintain food processing equipment, perform safety checks, conduct product analysis, and develop new products to ensure the highest standard of quality and consumer safety.

Prerequisites: Official high school transcript, High school diploma or GED (required for financial aid), MSU IAT application with $65 non-refundable application fee, MCC enrollment application, FAFSA completion
