Psychology is the scientific study of affect/emotions, behavior/actions, and cognition/thinking. MCC offers Applied Psychology for certificate-seeking students and General Psychology for those pursuing an Associates Degree or university transfer. Additional courses include Educational Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, Psychological Disorders of Childhood, Life Span Development, and Social Psychology. Most courses are offered both online and at MCC's main campus, with General Psychology also available at extension sites in Ottawa and Newaygo Counties.
