Broadcasting

Reporters, correspondents, and broadcast news analysts inform the public about news and events happening internationally, nationally, and locally, working for newspapers, magazines, websites, television, and radio. Students may earn an associate degree at Muskegon Community College to transfer to a four-year college or university. Employers generally prefer workers with a bachelor's degree in journalism or communications along with internship or work experience from a college radio or television station or newspaper.
