Nursing (AAS)

The MCC Nursing Program offers a career ladder curriculum including a Practical Nurse Diploma and an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree. AAS graduates are eligible to sit for the NCLEX-RN to practice as a Registered Nurse. The program is approved by the Michigan Board of Nursing and accredited by ACEN. Admission is first-come, first-served; applicants are waitlisted once entry requirements are met. LPNs may enter with advanced placement. Concurrent enrollment in BSN programs at Michigan State University or Grand Valley University is available.

Prerequisites: Entry requirements must be met before placement on waitlist, LPNs/LVNs with advanced placement must hold an unencumbered license and current work experience and apply for Credit for Industry Recognized Credentials
