Muskegon Community College's Criminal Justice program introduces students to career paths including Police Officer, Corrections Officer, Deputy Sheriff, U.S. Marshall, DNR Enforcement Officer, Security Guard, Public Safety Officer, Probation Officer, and Parole Officer. The program develops skills in honesty, moral judgment, responsibility, maintaining neutral attitudes under pressure, quick decision-making, and teamwork. Programs available include AAS and ASA degrees in Corrections and Law Enforcement, an MI Transfer Pathway, and a Corrections Certificate.
