Radiological Technology

Degree

Prepare to transfer into a radiological technology program at another college through Muskegon Community College's Associate in Science and Arts (ASA) pathway. Radiologic technologists perform diagnostic imaging examinations such as x-rays, while MRI technologists operate MRI scanners. Most positions require an associate's degree and licensure or certification. Employment of radiologic and MRI technologists is projected to grow 13 percent from 2016 to 2026, driven by an aging population and increased need for diagnostic imaging.
