Philosophy

Degree

Philosophy explores fundamental questions about existence, knowledge, ethics, and reality. MCC's philosophy courses cover logic, business ethics, biomedical ethics, environmental ethics, philosophy of religion, and world religions. Philosophy develops critical thinking, careful reading, ethical reasoning, and sound judgment—skills valued in law, medicine, business, and religion. The program leads to an Associate in Science and Arts (ASA) with MI Transfer pathway, preparing students for transfer to four-year institutions.
