Journalism

Degree

For those interested in providing accurate information about society's challenges and triumphs, journalism offers a path to producing and distributing reports on current events. Whether pursuing writing for newspapers, magazines, or news websites, or preparing and gathering news for broadcast, students can begin at MCC with general education courses for transfer toward a degree in journalism. The program leads to an Associate in Science and Arts (ASA) credential with Michigan transfer pathway.
