Prepares students for careers as airline or commercial pilots, who fly and navigate airplanes, helicopters, and other aircraft, or as aerospace engineers who design aircraft, spacecraft, satellites, and missiles. Employment of airline and commercial pilots is projected to grow 4 percent through 2026, with most openings arising from pilot retirements. Aerospace engineering requires a four-year degree; MCC provides a transfer pathway to complete foundational coursework before moving to a four-year institution.
