The Medical Assistant Pharmacology course introduces students to pharmacology and the role of medical assistants in healthcare. The course introduces the students to safe medication practices, dosage calculations, medication classifications, and common medications prescribed to address acute and chronic conditions and for health maintenance and prevention.
