The Mott Community College Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) program prepares students for registered nursing using a patient-centered approach grounded in evidence-based practice, critical thinking, and communication. Graduates earn an A.A.S. in Nursing and are eligible to sit for the NCLEX-RN licensure exam. The program has achieved a 100% job placement rate for graduates since 2020 and offers credit transfer agreements with fourteen colleges. Accredited by ACEN and approved by the Michigan Board of Nursing, the curriculum is built on core values of caring, diversity, ethics, excellence, holism, integrity, and patient-centeredness.

Prerequisites: High school diploma or GED, College level reading comprehension (ACCUPLACER, ACT reading 20+, SAT reading 27+, or satisfactory grade in RDNG 030/ACRD-090/ACRD-091), Math proficiency (ACCUPLACER into MATH 130+, ACT math 25+, SAT math 590+, or MATH 115 with 2.0+), BIOL 151 – Human Anatomy & Physiology I (3.0+, within last 5 years), BIOL 152 – Human Anatomy & Physiology II (3.0+, within last 5 years), ENGL 101 or 103 – English Composition I (3.0+), AHLT 112 – Nutrition for Health (3.0+, within last 5 years), AHLT 135 – Dosages & Solutions (3.0+, within last 5 years), NRSG 100 – Pharmacology & Therapeutics (3.0+, within last 5 years), Cumulative MCC GPA of 3.0 or higher, ATI TEAS at overall Proficient Level or higher (taken at MCC, max 2 attempts), Official transcripts for all transfer college coursework, Acceptable criminal background investigation (CBI)
