SURG-150 — Basic Operative Procedures

0 or higher, or successful completion of ACRD-090, ACRD-091 or ACRD-092; SURG-100, SURG-101, SURG-102, SURG-103 and SURG-110. This course introduces the student to basic types of surgical procedures with a primary focus on the sequential steps involved in these procedures. Surgical anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology will be addressed relative to basic surgical intervention. Students will become familiar with instrumentation, anticipatory skills, and surgical asepsis and surgical conscience. Course
