Students will be introduced to the assessment and treatment approaches for addictive disorders: theories of addiction and treatment; and social dimensions of addiction and sobriety support. This class is appropriate for both students engaged in a course of study and beginning substance abuse workers in the field. It will apply toward the beginning substance abuse workers in the field.
