SLIE-250 — Educational Interpreting

0, or successful completion of RDNG-016 or ACLT-074 with a minimum grade of 3.0. 0 in SLIE-103 and SLIE-215 Course covers different aspects of educational interpreting. Students will identify and demonstrate other sign language modalities typically used in the educational system; explain and demonstrate appropriate professional behavior in the educational system; learn how to adapt modalities to fit the age group level of the student; demonstrate increase in ASL and spoken English academic related technical terms; demonstrate knowledge of the IEP process; demonstate knowledge of typical child development stages.
