PHIL-271 — Ethics in Business

This course is an intensive study of the moral issues in business. The course will examine moral theories and their implications for moral conduct in business. Course issues will include topics such as workers’ rights; corporate responsibility; truth in sales, marketing, and advertising; globalization, international business, and global awareness in business; and executive compensation. This course will prepare students to solve moral problems in the workplace and for subsequent study in philosophy. This course will appeal to students in business, marketing, entrepreneurship,finance and accounting, economics, and to students with an interest in ethics or philosophy in general. Course
