0, or successful completion of ACRD-080; JAPA-112 JAPA-211 is the first course of a two-semester sequence in intermediate Japanese. Students are introduced to more complex grammatical structures and vocabulary through oral and written practice. Practical communication skills (speaking, reading, writing, and listening comprehension) are emphasized. Approximately 150 kanji characters are introduced.
