0. A basic course focusing on the procedures and techniques of testifying in court as an investigator or expert witness. The course explores the written documentation of evidence visual aid preparation and the presentation of physical evidence. Course topics include the rules governing the admissibility of evidence; qualifications of scientific and other experts and legal issues relating to expert witnesses. Lecture discussion and simulated courtroom situations and use of presentation technology. Course
