Student must provide own hand tools. This is a lecture/lab course covering the theory and operation of the automobile engine. Engine diagnostic procedures service procedures rebuilding and cylinder head service will also be demonstrated and performed by students. Safety practices will also be emphasized and will be sufficient to prepare a student for the State of Michigan Certification Test in Engine Repair.
