PHT2931 — Seminar for Physical Therapist Assistants

Recognition of the expected current competency levels, and ethical and legal responsibilities of the physical therapist assistant in the health care system. A comprehensive course designed to enhance students’ understanding of the curricular content. It provides a thorough review of the curriculum, ensuring that students consolidate their knowledge and skills. Special topics are presented. The role of the PTA including ethical and legal responsibilities are emphasized. The course prepares students for licensure requirements and preparation for the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE-PTA) and the Florida Laws and Rules examination.
