This course introduces theory and practical applications of physical therapy biophysical agents. The physiologic effects, indications, contraindications, and intervention parameters of patient care interventions including electrotherapeutic agents, compression therapies, cryotherapy, hydrotherapy, superficial and deep thermal agents, traction, and therapeutic massage are presented.
