Externship in an approved finishing laboratory of a retail ophthalmic dispensing establishment. The student will gain a working knowledge of ophthalmic frame and lens stock, inventory system, layout and blocking, chemical and heat treating, edging, tinting assembly and alignment of eyewear according to the written prescription.
