NSG0080 — Nursing Transitions

This course focuses on preparing students for the transition from Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to a Registered Nurse (RN). Students will adapt concepts of anatomy and physiology as the foundation of the professional nurse, demonstrate holistic assessment skills, and Integrate technology to provide and document care that focuses on the professional behavior of the nursing student. Students will integrate concepts of professional, legal, and ethical responsibilities of the RN, as well as effective communication, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
