This course covers all local, state and federal regulations related to Nuclear Medicine. Students will learn the appropriate protection procedures to limit exposure, the performance of area surveys and wipe tests, the proper decontamination procedures, the disposal of radioactive waste procedures, and personnel monitoring of radiation exposure.
