The student will learn the fundamentals of clinical nuclear medicine before going to the hospital and/or clinical site for actual patient interaction. The student will be introduced to radio-pharmacology, radiopharmaceutical chemistry, and characterization of radiopharmaceuticals, localization, and FDA approval process.
