This course includes field observation and supervised practical interpreting experience in a one-to-one or small group interpreting situation in the community.The student is assigned to an experienced, certified practicing interpreter who acts as a mentor for the duration of the internship. A minimum of 288 hours is spent in the internship experience. This includes meetings with college faculty and the interpreter/mentor.
