FOT2828 — Medical Interpretation

This course develops the techniques, practices and knowledge needed to function as interpreters in a medical environment. Interpreting models such as sight, consecutive and simultaneous - as they apply to the medical setting - are revisited. Medical vocabulary/terminology in English and foreign language as well as code of ethics will also be introduced.

Prerequisites: FOT 2821, 2823, FOT 2824
