This course teaches students tuning steps which can be used to improve database performance. Students will learn through a combination of demonstrations, lectures, and lab exercises, gaining practical experience tuning an Oracle database. Students will also learn how to recognize, troubleshoot and resolve common performance related problems in administering an Oracle database.
