ARC2702 — History of Architecture 2

This course provides a survey of architecture from the 19th century to the present and includes works from the Western canon and examining architectural developments. Students will analyze the integration of art forms, structural elements, and ornamental designs across civilizations, exploring their connections to human development, including art and history. Through this study, students will develop critical thinking skills and gain understanding of how architecture reflects and influences societal changes and cultural expressions throughout modern and contemporary periods. Writing intensive course.
