A course exploring the fragility of the world's ecosystems, covering ecological concepts, resource limitations, alternative energy, land use, water and air pollution, and humanity's role in environmental change. Complements offerings in General Biology, Natural Science, and Earth Science. Credits transfer to most four-year colleges and universities. Faculty hold master's or Ph.D. degrees in natural science with field research experience.
