Philosophy

Philosophy courses at Macomb sharpen critical thinking skills through exploration of free will, determinism, ethics, moral concepts, the relationship between faith and reason, and the role of religion in society. Faculty are practicing philosophers who mentor students through thought-provoking issues. Credits transfer to four-year colleges and universities. Advanced degrees (master's or Ph.D.) are required to teach philosophy at the college or university level.
