VETT-2060 instructs veterinary technician students in the techniques of handling and restraint of equine and food animal species. Application strategies include physical examination, specimen collection and laboratory test procedures, injections, oral medication administration, and other procedures relative to these species. Students will also perform bandaging, hoof care, and lameness exam procedures for horses. (2 billable contact hrs)
