(formerly VETT-1720) VETT-1040 prepares veterinary technician students with basic principles of office procedures and communication in veterinary practice. Students develop skills used in routine office practice, including record keeping, financial transactions, euthanasia, and the grieving process. Instruction includes an exploration of the veterinary technician profession, student learning, behavior and personality styles, and common AKC registered dog breeds. (2 billable contact hrs)
