SURG-1300 — Surgical Clinical 2

This course further develops clinical skills of students in the perioperative environment. Students continue to increase intraoperative skills anticipating the surgeon's needs during surgery. Students perfect their role as first scrub person, second scrub, and assistant to the circulating person on various surgical procedures as students prepare for employment. This clinical meets three eight-hour days per week. Students are responsible for their own transportation. This course is graded on a pass/fail basis. Students are required to pass this course to progress in the program. (11 billable contact hrs)
