(replaces RSPT-1111 and RSPT-1120) RSPT-1115 is an orientation to the procedures, techniques, and equipment used in the practice of respiratory therapy. Topics covered include use of protocols, oxygen therapy, airway dilation therapy, volume expansion therapy, pulmonary hygiene therapy, airway management, resuscitation, and documentation. Students will develop psychomotor skills in respiratory therapy procedures. (9 billable contact hrs)
