(replaces but does not equate to NURS-2830) This patient-centered clinical course helps students develop skills in providing and managing nursing care of diverse adult patients. Utilizing the framework of the nursing process, students will practice critical thinking, communication skills, application of technology, and professional responsibility while safely caring for patients with lifespan changes. Major emphasis will be on nursing care management and delegation of care to a group of patients with neurological, musculoskeletal, and oncology problems. This course is graded on a pass/fail basis. Students are required to pass this course to progress in the program. (6 billable contact hrs)
