This course introduces industrial automation concepts such as AC/DC control systems, electronic sensors, pneumatics, material handling systems (robots), and mechanical drives. Computers and computer simulation software will be used throughout the course. Troubleshooting of mechanical problems, circuits, logic, and programs will be emphasized. Industrial technical terms and safety procedures will be taught. This is the second course in a two-part series.
