(3 credit hrs prior to Fall 2005) A practical hands-on course introducing the use of digital video equipment for studio and location applications. Pre-production planning, camera operations, lighting, audio acquisition, and editing techniques are covered. Emphasizing teamwork, students will work in each position of a production crew. Students use college provided digital video equipment and non-linear editing suites to produce effective video programming. (6 billable contact hrs)
