HUMN-1210 — Introduction to the Arts

An introductory course in the Humanities, stressing an objective approach to the arts. It is designed to provide the student with the tools necessary to understanding various forms of artistic expression and to establish the understanding that form and content in art are products of fundamental cultural values. Painting, sculpture, architecture, and music are stressed. Related field trips are a part of the humanities program. (3 billable contact hrs)
