No credit after ENGL-1190. The focus of this course is the writing of critical essays based upon readings in literature, and the further development of writing skills learned in ENGL-1181 (previously ENGL-1180) or ENGL-1211. The course places extensive emphasis upon research. Students who have completed ENGL-1190 successfully should NOT take ENGL-1220. Students will NOT receive credit for both. (3 billable contact hrs)
