(formerly ESLL-1040) This course improves students' academic English through writing, reading, speaking, and listening activities with a focus on writing and grammar. Students will practice advanced verb tenses, modals in the past, and other advanced grammar structures. Students will write both extended paragraphs and summaries using new structures and vocabulary. Students will improve their academic vocabulary. Regular use of computer lab is also included. (5 billable contact hrs)
