This course will expand upon the application of knowledge and clinical skills learned and lead further toward the objectives of the dental hygiene process of care in clinical practice. Students will continue to develop their clinical skills by providing preventative, educational, and therapeutic services; applying techniques and skills to identify and ease pain and anxiety; and identification of general and/or oral pathology, to clinical patients in a supervised dental setting.
