(formerly DNHY-1110) This course explores prenatal development; the development, histological and anatomical characteristics, and developmental disturbances of human primary and permanent teeth; and the anatomical features and functions of oral tissues and of the head and neck. Students acquire in-depth understanding of embryology, oral histology, dental anatomy, the anatomy of the head and neck, and their relationship to dental hygiene clinical practice.
