This course offers students the opportunity to conduct independent research or practical projects on topics in the field of criminal justice. Under the supervision of a professor, students will explore areas of personal interest within criminal justice, such as criminology, law enforcement, corrections, the court system, or juvenile justice. Students will gain experience in conducting research, applying theoretical frameworks, and developing solutions to contemporary criminal justice issues. (3 billable contact hrs)
