CRIM-2330 — Intro to Emergency Management

(formerly HLND-2000) CRIM 2330 addresses preparedness and response in emergency situations resulting from natural, technological, and terrorist hazards. This is an exercise-based course which utilizes case-study analysis and table-top disaster exercises. The instructional methodologies include lecture, case-study review, planning exercises, and table-top simulations aimed at introducing students to a structured decision-making process that focuses on a multi-jurisdictional, multi-agency, and multi-disciplined approach to hazard mitigation.
