CRIM-1230 — Analysis of Terrorism

(formerly LAWE-1500) This course is a detailed examination of causes, phenomena, and significance of terrorism of all types, including those that are revolutionary in origin, as well as state, liberation, and criminal in nature. Having provided a sound knowledge of the origins, leadership, and policies of terrorism, the workshop will monitor its path and practices in the world of today as well as providing some assessment of the threat of tomorrow. By means of the workshop approach, each student will learn to track the activities of the various terrorist groups. (3 billable contact hrs)
