This 8 hour course Provide training in the theory and basic design aspects of battery powered vehicle propulsion systems. This is an introduction to AC motors and AC motor controls. Topics include fundamental concepts of electricity and magnetism, AC motors, traction motors, inverters, cooling systems and other power controls. Couse content will include discussion of typical safety processes and methods needed to interact with high voltage vehicles.
