The student shall study tool and die steels, their heat treatment, tempering and chemical analysis with emphasis on filler metal selection and welding procedures used in repair and fabrication with tool and die steels. The student shall weld samples with tool and die electrodes using different welding processes. (4 billable contact hrs)
