This course provides an overview of residential wiring in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) with practical application. Standard electrical symbols found on schematics for new or renovated homes and the installation of various types of wiring systems and materials will be covered, including the safe installation of electrical circuits. Both the electrician and the homeowner wishing to renovate or improve their home's electrical system will benefit from this course. (2 billable contact hrs)
